Why should I book Abbey Video Productions for my wedding?
We have years of experience, so I think that speaks for itself! We constantly keep up-to-date with the most recent technology, we have built up a powerful reputation and have been complimented on both our professional and unobtrusive approach at weddings. Our creativity and documentary style approach means you and your guests will hardly notice us working in the background
Why should my wedding be filmed?
After all the planning and arrangements you have made over the past months, your day will pass so quickly and it is so nice to look back to your wedding day at leisure with your family and friends and relive all those special moments, and even see things that you missed on the day itself!
When do I pay you ?
Full payment is required on the morning of your wedding, this way your wedding film will be ready for collection when you come back from honeymoon!
Do you work well with the photographer?
Yes, over the years we have met many professional wedding photographers and we all get on great, and also recommend each other when needed. The old rule is always there, “the photographer can be in your wedding video, but the videographer must never appear in your photographs”
What media will my wedding be delivered on
You will receive 1 USB and a DVD as a back up
The BIG Question do you charge extra for travel?
Simple. NO we don’t charge extra for travel.
Do you supply the raw/ unedited footage ?
No, we do not supply the ( Raw footage) firstly there no point as the files are so large they will find it difficult to play or view them. also due to Data protection. so no we don’t
Do you set up shots on the day?
We never set up shots unless asked to by the Bride and Groom. We think it looks too staged. We film exactly what happens on the day to make your film as natural as possible.
How many cameras do you use?
We use our main camera but also a top of the range Hi Def GoPRO camera where possible to get those extra shots. Generally an experienced videographer knows when and where to be, so adequate coverage can be achieved with one camera person.
Will the camera person be in our faces all day?
Not at all – with modern cameras & lens we don’t need to be close to you at all. So if some of your family are shy of cameras they need not worry and can enjoy their day
