IT’S SHOW-TIME!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And nowhere more so than in the schools and preschools where the children are really getting into the festive mood practicing for their annual Christmas shows. Yes it’s that time of year again when the tinsel and the Christmas jumpers get their annual airing and the excitement is building as festive songs and dance moves are rehearsed for the big show!
We at Abbey Video find ourselves filming many school and preschool shows and events at this time of year, in every corner of Tipperary and also further afield in counties Limerick and Kilkenny. Even though it is a very busy few weeks we keep on top of things and wherever possible we get the finished DVDs back to the pupils before they finish up for their Christmas holidays.
So much work and preparation goes into each show by the pupils and the teachers and helpers, and of course the ever patient parents! So it’s nice to be able to watch it all over again whenever you like when it’s recorded on DVD/ USB , and it can provide hours of entertainment all over again to the little stars of the show when Mammy or Daddy are busy with the Christmas preparations! We have been told on more than one occasion that the Christmas Show is a great little babysitter!
A Christmas Show DVD/ USB makes a lovely gift for grandparents or aunts and uncles who mightn’t be able to make it to the show. And of course the children themselves will love looking back on it in years to come!
